What is edible copra?

 Edible copra is coconut meat that is split in half,then dried.There are three basic grades of copra,the lowest grade has a slightly blacklish yellow color, and is usually used for the production for RBD coconut oil,meanwhile the other two grades can be categorized as white copra or edible copra,namely grade ordinary white copra is also widely used for coconut oil production,but the specifications and characteristics are different. compared with coconut oil from black or yellowed copra,the FFA points are lower.
Meanwhile,the edible copra grade is the best quality of copra, the color is white and the minimum diameter is arround 8 centimeters,it can be eaten as garde,as the name suggests,it can be consumed directly.
Apart from that,edible white copra can also be used as a raw material for the food industry.
